This page aims to list all the policies for Office Gourmet Catering. The policies are periodically updated. Please check the date above for the last update. We are committed to transparency and fair use of your data. Please contact us for any questions that are not addressed in the policies below.
Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before placing your catering order through Office Gourmet Catering.
Your access to and use of our service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the service.
Upon ordering, a site contact name and phone number will be requested. This person is to be available throughout the duration of the delivery window to receive the meal. We strongly recommend adding a backup person’s name & backup phone number for situations when the main contact person may become unavailable.
If there is no one present to collect the order upon the arrival of the driver (within the delivery window), the driver will wait a maximum of 15 minutes. If no-one has arrived to receive the order by that time, the policy is as follows:
- Household – The catering will be left at the front door. If the food cannot be left (ex – apartment building), it will be brought back to our address at 7207 Fairmount Drive SE for a customer pick up.
- Business – The catering will be left with reception. If the food cannot be left, it will be brought back to our address at 7207 Fairmount Drive SE for a customer pick up.
A second delivery attempt may be made once the driver’s other orders have been completed. (Please note, this may take up to three hours).
Please note, we use allergens such as gluten, dairy, shellfish, and nuts in our facilities.
Due to the nature of some allergies and intolerances, we cannot guarantee food safety for those with severe allergies.
Office Gourmet Catering takes great care to instruct food production staff on the severity of food allergies, mitigate cross contamination, and identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those individuals with food allergies. However, the possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice, also exists.
We strongly recommend ordering a separate plate for anyone with severe allergies. Guests who may have a life-threatening reaction should consider avoiding the consumption of any food at the event.
In order to receive a full refund, cancellation notice must be received by these times:
- For breakfasts, hot meals, and bento boxes | 12:00 pm (noon) two business days prior to the delivery date
- All other products | 12:00 pm (noon) one business day prior to the delivery date
If orders are cancelled after the ordering deadline, 50% of the total invoice will be charged to cover the cost of the supplies.
If the food has already been partially prepped, fully prepped, completed, or dispatched, it will be invoiced in full.
The client is responsible for providing adequate parking space for catering vehicles and if not available then applicable parking lot fees will be added to the final invoice. The client will also ensure that the catering location has adequate loading dock and elevator access and that any necessary paperwork is filed ahead of the delivery date.
Office Gourmet Catering shall not be liable for damages or otherwise for failure to carry out the items of this agreement in whole or in part, caused directly or indirectly by or in consequence of fire, storm, war, earthquake, flood, venue closure, pandemic, rebellion, insurrection, riot, civil commotion, strike or by any cause whatsoever or Act of God beyond the control of Great Events Catering Inc. whether similar to or dissimilar from the causes enumerated herein.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 5 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
